Investors have the opportunity to construct and operate fruit processing facilities in Sokoto State.

Investment Opportunity

A number of fruits are grown and suitable for cultivation in the north-western state of Sokoto. These include tomatoes, mango, pap-paw and various citrus fruits.

Investors have the opportunity to invest in various fruit processing activities, including fruit canning and fruit juice production.

Although such facilities can be constructed all across the state, the Sokoto metro axis will probably be the most viable because of the market potential and the availability of raw materials.
