Investors have the opportunity to invest in the construction and operation of tourism facilities in Kwara State, situated in central Nigeria.
MARKETKwara State is relatively close to Nigeria's capital Abuja as well as to the commercial hub, Lagos. Any world class tourism facility is therefore bound to attract a high patronage. The state is accessible by road and the newly revamped Ilorin International Airport has daily flights to and from Lagos and Abuja.
INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Investors can get involved in any area of Kwara State's tourism sector, either by developing existing attractions or by constructing brand new facilities.
Kwara State has a number of existing tourist attractions that are ready for development, some of these include:

Jebba
Jebba could be described as a museum city per excellence as it possesses a host of historical sites and relics. These include the relics of Mungo Park's ship known as SSday Spring. Other attractions include the Jebba bridges which remains a symbol of one of the greatest engineering achievements in Nigeria, while the bank of the River Niger, coupled with Fangel Island, has potential for a beautiful inland beach resort. The Ahoyaya waterfall is also located near Jebba.
Patigi Regatta Festival
