Lagos State has immense potential for tourism given its rich historical past, sandy beaches and array of festivals. The current administration is eager to exploit these opportunities and use the tourism sector as a vehicle for economic growth.
The state government is currently looking for partners in the construction of a conference centre. The plan is to develop the largest conference centre in Africa at a size of 60 000m².
