The federal government of Nigeria, through the Federal Ministry of Mines and Steel Development, is offering interested parties the opportunity to invest in the mining, and establishment of a factory for processing, of salt. Nigeria boasts of enormous salt deposits in the Benue trough.
The project will involve planning mining activities, the design and construction of the salt processing factory and operation of the facility. The salt will be for local consumption and export.
