Description
The Lagos State Government is looking to start a night safari attraction and investors are welcome to submit their proposals.
The night safari would deliver a wildlife park that has been purposely built for visits at night only. It would offer an extremely unique experience that would be a first for Africa.
The park would be nested in lush forest and would offer guests and tourists the unique experience of exploring wildlife in a tropical jungle at night. This unique experience would be delivered through the use of subtle lighting techniques and would provide the opportunity to view animals in their natural habitats at night.
Viewing tropical animals at night is ideal since most are nocturnal and only active after dusk.
Market:
Lagos State is Nigeria's most populous state with close to 18 million people. As the commercial capital of the country it is also a sure visit for most business travellers.
Accessibility:
Lagos is the major transportation hub in Nigeria with an international and local airport. The presence of sea ports and major international road gateways naturally place Lagos at an advantage for being the first point of entry (about 68%) to most arrivals into Nigeria.
