The Lagos State Government is looking to partner with the private sector in the provision of commercial infrastructure such as security cameras, shopping complexes, buses, terminals, markets and hotels.

Lagos State's public private partnership (PPP) initiative is designed to be project-based, with meaningful impact on its citizens. It is therefore focused on projects that are visible and achievable within a specified period of time. It is open to both domestic and foreign investors. Public private partnership projects are to assist the Lagos State Government in fast-tracking the dividends of democracy to its citizenry. The philosophy is to take governance and public administration to the next level, divorcing itself of projects that can best be handled by the private sector.
