The Kwara State Ministry of Industry and Solid Minerals is making plans to undertake a thorough exploration exercise for solid minerals in the state.
The exploration is to determine the quality and quantity of the various solid minerals in the state. These minerals include: tantalite, columbite, cassiterite, glass sand, silica sand, granite, kaolin, marble, clay, feldspars, gemstone, talc, tourmaline, mica and garnet, amongst others.
