The Kwara State Government is planning to set up a marble processing factory and are looking for partners to get involved in the project.

Marble is used in the manufacturing of a number of products including paper, toothpaste, plastics, paint and ground calcium carbonate.

Marble is found in large commercial quantities in the local government areas of Kaiama, Ifelodun and Moro.

Investment Opportunity

The project will involve:

  • the planning of the facility;
  • construction works;
  • installation of processing equipment; and
  • the operation of the facility

    The proposed site for the facility is in the state capital Ilorin.
