Property developers have the opportunity to invest in housing estates in Kwara State, situated in central Nigeria.

Investment Opportunity

The Kwara State Government has mapped out land for the construction of social housing estates and are looking for property developers to get involved. Though past governments have made efforts in constructing low cost housing units in various locations in the state, the amount of available houses is still inadequate. There is also currently a trend of rural-urban migration which adds to the housing dilemma in the cities and towns.

The administration, through the Ministry of Land and Housing, is committed to creating an enabling environment for investment - a private property developer, Le'Venue Property Development Co. Ltd is already in the final approval stages of constructiong a 500 unit housing estate. In addition to various incentives, government has also made provisions in terms of land availability for any investor who is interested in housing development in the state.
