More than 70% of Kwara State's population live in rural areas. Their main source of domestic energy is from wood which has placed heavy pressure on the natural environment.
The Kwara State government is therefore offering interested local and foreign investors the opportunity to invest in the fabrication and manufacturing of kerosene and gas stoves for domestic, regional and African markets.
The project will involve the designing, planning, construction, installation and operation of the facility. Land surveys and environmental impact assessments will also need to be carried out.
