The Kwara State Government is offering investors with a proven power capability the opportunity to invest in electricity generation.
Investment Opportunity
The Kwara State has decided to establish an independent gas power plant to generate much needed power for boosting economic activity in the area. A committee, set up by the present administration to look into the problem of erratic power supply, reports that the state needs 63 to 91 megawatts in order to meet its energy needs.
Investors are therefore called upon to invest in power generation and distribution.
Incentives to investors
The Kwara State Government is willing to facilitate easy access to land for any serious investor looking to do business in the state. The administration will also assist investors with infrastructure such as roads, electricity, water, etc.
The Nigeria Federal Government has also outlined various incentives for gas utilisation projects.
