Description

The Kwara State government is planning to set up a sustainable flour milling factory.

The project will involve the planning, construction and operation of the facility. Area surveys will also need to be carried out.

Raw materials that will be used for the production of flour include maize, sorghum, cassava and wheat. All of these are grown locally in Kwara State, except wheat which will be brought in from other states.

Community participation:

Community participation in this project is as follows:

  • The planting and supply of agricultural raw materials to the milling factory.
  • Active participation in the construction of the factory.
  • Active participation in the operation of the production unit.
