The Kwara State Government is looking for investors to establish and operate a facility for the production of livestock feed.
Investment opportunity
The project will involve the planning, construction and operation of a sustainable livestock feed factory. The raw materials for the project include maize, soya beans, groundnuts and sugar cane – all of which are cultivated in the state.
Agriculture is Kwara State's most important sector and the majority of the population is directly or indirectly involved in farming activities. The state, situated in central Nigeria, is part of the fertile 'middle belt' that cuts across the country.

Security: Kwara State is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria and investors will be able to do business without any security concerns.
Incentives: The state government is committed to create an enabling environment for investment. Investors will be assisted in the areas of land acquisition, financing, security, power supply and all other infrastructure requirements. Tax holidays will also be extended to investors.
Market: Kwara State has a ready local market for livestock feed. Investors will also have access to the rest of Nigeria's 150 million people as well as the West African sub-region with whom Nigeria enjoys favourable trade agreements.
