The Kwara State government is planning to set up a vegetable oil processing plant. Vegetable oil will be produced for local and international markets.
The project will involve the planning, construction, installation and operation of the facility. A survey of the area will also need to be carried out.
Most of the crops needed for the production of the vegetable oil are produced in the state. These are groundnuts, soya beans and shea nuts.
This is a community-based project that will involve the active participation of rural communities.
