

Nasarawa state government plans to build a N1.34-billion plant to produce intravenous infusion products, and is seeking investors for the project.
The plant will produce seven fast-selling pharmaceutical products, which the managing director of Nasarawa Investment and Property Development Company NIPDC, Daniel Ajegena says have a potentially huge local and international market, according to completed feasibility studies.
The proposed plant would produce glucose intravenous 2.5% and 5% solution (BP); sodium chloride 0.9% (BP); sodium chloride and glucose intravenous 4.3%; lactated potassium in saline 1.2% (BP), and lactated pentoel solution acetate and dextrose 50% solution (BP).
