One of Nigeria's leading computer manufacturers, Zinox Computers, is going to invest a substantial amount of money into its new digitalised information technology factory.
According to Stan Leo Ekeh, chairman, the new factory is necessary to meet the expectations that Nigerians and West Africans have of the Zinox brand.
When fully operational, the new facility will be able to produce 5 000 Zinox systems per day. The factory will also provide many employment opportunities.
The former president of the Information Technology Association of Nigeria (ITAN), Chief Chris Uwaje, said the project is capable of launching Nigeria into the knowledge economy. He also expressed his pleasure with the number of blue chip companies currently using Zinox's products.
