

Private sector invited to invest in airport transformation

Nigeria’s federal government has reiterated its decision to partner with the private sector to transform the state of the country’s airports, Business Day reports.
Chairman, board of directors of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Ebitimi Banigo said the proper concession of some airports and the automation of facilities are high on FAAN’s agenda.
He added that FAAN’s policy of partnership with the private sector presents significant opportunities to investors.
According to Banigo, FAAN is focused on positioning all Nigeria's airports for long-term sustainable growth and offering better service quality to passengers.
