The Tinapa Business and Leisure Resort in Cross River State has the potential to generate N100 billion (US$ 666 million) annually according to the managing director, Bassey Ndem.

Vanguard newspaper reports Ndem told journalists in Calabar that Tinapa's major problem is that people are not aware of the opportunities at the resort.

According to Ndem, Tinapa will see an improvement in the quality of services and the number of tenants and businesses in the near future.

The managing director said physical structures at the resort have been completed, a number of shops have started to operate and that the water park has been completed.
