Ondo spends more than N23 billion on roads

5.3 km in Igbokoda at a cost of N500 million;
the 12 km Makun-Atijere road at N624.4 million; and
the 10.5 km Igbotu-Igbekebo road costing N632 million.
the 35 km Igbokoda-Ugbonla road at a cost of N8.95 billion; and
the 42 km Aboto-Olokola road costing N12.165 billion.

The Ondo State government has built 105 kilometres of roads in the oil producing areas of the state. The total cost of construction amounted to N23 billion.

Igbekele Mesogborinwon, chairman of the Ilaje Local Government Council of Ondo State, said the roads have significantly improved the socio-economic activities of the region's people.
