Nasarawa sets aside N14-billion for rural development

Governor Akwe Doma said most of the people living in the state's rural areas do not have access to basic amenities and that his administration will therefore improve the road network, electricity supply and water provision.the construction of the Guto-Bagana Bridge across the River Benue;
the construction and/or rehabilitation of Doma-Akpanaja road, Toto-Umaisha road, Gitata-Panda-Guruku-Mararaba road, Adudu-Ribi-Azara road, Gudi-Rinze-Nunku road, Nasarawa Eggon-Mada Station road and Kokona-Awada-Udege road; and
the intensifying of the rural electrification scheme.
