Chevron to invest N2.2-trillion in energy projects

US oil company, Chevron Corporation, has committed to spending N2.2-trillion (US$17.5-billion) on exploration, production and natural gas related projects in Nigeria and eight other countries in 2008.
Projects in Nigeria that will benefit from the investment include the Agbami and Usan deepwater fields.

US oil company, Chevron Corporation, has committed to spending N2.2-trillion (US$17.5-billion) on exploration, production and natural gas related projects in Nigeria and eight other countries in 2008.
Projects in Nigeria that will benefit from the investment include the Agbami and Usan deepwater fields.
Chevron says these projects, and others across the world, are aimed at increasing energy supplies to meet growing global demand and will lay a foundation for the company's future growth.
