South African interior design company, Miranda Meyer Interior Projects has landed a number of jobs in Nigeria and is now keen to establish an office in Lagos.

The company was recently asked to design the interior for law firm Aluko & Oyebode in Lagos.

Company CEO Miranda Meyer says that after her recent trip to Nigeria her focus is on getting more work in the country and that she plans to open an office in Lagos in the near future. The company has done work in São Tomé, Oman, Mozambique, South Africa and Angola in the past.

"As an interior designer you have to have a vision to be successful and in my vision I see a new Lagos arising through the dirt and chaos, and I want to be part of that," says Meyer.

"The people of Nigeria impressed me with their warmth. My client was impressed with the design I prepared for him and showed his appreciaction for my presentation."

MMI has already been offered two additional projects in Abuja from the Horizen Capital Investment Group for their new head offices and the Harrow Park Golf Centre.

Meyer added that "I have travelled all over the world and this is where I want to be".
