Alpine Investment Services is going to develop a N1.2-billion (US$100-million) shopping mall in Kano.

Mohammed Hayatu-Deen, CEO of the company, said the planned mall is part of Alpine's plans to re-establish Kano as a commercial and industrial hub.

The project will be developed on 10ha of land and will consist of a modern shopping mall, a cinema and a hotel with conference facilities.

According to Hayatu-Deen, two renowned retailers have already shown strong interest to participate in the project as anchor tenants.
