FirstCall Estates Limited is going to develop 500 units of two and three-bedroom bungalows in Bauchi State.

Many state governments in Nigeria no longer want to be directly involved in housing provision and are engaging the private sector.

The company, a subsidiary of FirstCall Group, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Bauchi State government to deliver the units.

Ochuko Akposibruke, FirstCall Group's president said they will also provide mortgage packages to buyers. The homes will only be made available to civil servants.

He added that the company is interested in helping governments deliver affordable and world class housing.
