A group of Italian investors has finalised plans to establish a shoe producing plant in Nigeria, Vanguard newspaper reports.

The investors said that if Nigeria's Federal Government gave them an appropriate environment to do business, they would set up a facility to manufacture high quality soles.

During a visit yesterday to Minister of State for Commerce and Industry, Humphrey Abah, Olusegun Bamgbose, who lead the Italian delegation said that the Italian investors are convinced that Nigeria is a good destination to do serious business.

The Minister responded by saying that Nigeria's president is committed to create an enabling environment for investors to do business.
