Lagos ports to be rid of traffic chaos

Action is going to be taken to rid the roads around Lagos ports from unconsidered parking by petroleum product tankers. The federal government has thrown in its weight behind the Lagos state government to relieve the chaotic traffic situation.
Lagos and Tin Can Island ports have become inaccessible to drivers who need to use the roads in these areas. The current arrangement has also been blamed for a loss of productivity and man hours.
Lagos and Tin Can Island ports handle 65% of all cargoes that enter Nigeria.
