Kaduna Airport runway to be re-surfaced

The runway at Kaduna Airport will be re-surfaced and attention will be given to safety and security at the airport.

The Nigerian federal government has earmarked N320-million for the re-surfacing of the damaged runway at Kaduna Airport.

Alhaji Mohammad, Managing Director of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria, said the problems at the airport will soon be a thing of the past.

Special attention will also be given to ensure the safety and security of passengers, cargoes and luggage at the airport.

The government will spend an extra N40-million to temporarily repair the runway in time for this year's Umrah.
