Enugu lawmakers up in arms over coal firm deal

A resolution was sent to President Umaru Musa Yar’Adua to appoint a panel of inquiry to look into the alleged deal but no-one from the federal government has thus far given any concrete answers.

Hon. Cletus Enbe, who represents Awgu North Constituency in the Assembly, stated that only in the south-east of the country it is possible for government to sell mineral deposits without due consultations with citizens.
