The commissioner added that the relative peaceful atmosphere in Zamfara, coupled with its many business opportunities, will help to transform the state into an international trade centre.
Domestic and foreign investors have recently received invitations to do business in Zamfara and the state government says it will provide them with adequate security and land.
According to Alhaji Gyalange, his administration has commenced with the construction of new roads to ease the movement of goods in the state. The state's water board has also been revived to provide better water supply.
Zamfara is known for its cotton production and is also an important producer of cash crops such as groundnut.
